No Free Houses for Deadbeats

Both McCain and Obama want to give away free houses to deadbeats who won't pay their mortgage in a crazy attempt to prop up house prices. Not only is this unfair, it can't work. House prices must be in line with what people can afford.

What's the "War on Savings?"

The "Stimulus Package", the Wall Street Bailout, and lower interest rates are simply a tax on the few-percentage of Americans who have saved money! We're rewarding borrowing and spending and the expense of saving and investing.

The War on Savings will destroy the United States of America.

Whoever wins, Savers are Screwed

Both McCain and Obama are promising free houses to deadbeats. If you have been a responsible, taxpaying American (remember, people who spend all their income on deductible mortgage interest aren't taxpayers!) who is trying to save money, you're probably as angry as I am.

McCain, in a desperate attempt to buy votes, has been making statement about buying mortgages from "retiree" deadbeats and lowering their principal! That's right--some crazy old coot who should know better and tried to get-rich-quick in Real Estate will be bailed out by you and me. And do you think that he'll have to pay income tax on the amount of the cram down?

McCain lowering taxes for deadbeats while leaving everyone else's taxes the same is exactly the same as raising our taxes. Our Dollar is worth what people say it is. Taxes are part of the equation. Raising your taxes or cutting someone else's are exactly the same thing.

Barack Obama wants to shovel money at the non-working, non-taxpaying class in order to get them to buy houses that they can't afford. Obama's constituents would rather have handouts than affordable housing.

We're getting a house and YOU'RE gonna pay!

This couple are featured on a website that wants to "save seller-funded downpayment assistance programs." Obviously, if a seller is funding the downpayment it gets rolled into the house price. Which means Us Taxpayers--because we're responsible for Fanny and Freddie--are paying our tax dollars to inflate house prices. Inflated house prices mean we pay more property tax, and leads to overall inflation. But these folks, accustomed to handouts, want their free money, at your expense.

Barack's "affordability programs" are what got us into this mess in the first place. Of course, the banks were sleazy, but they were first forced to make loans to people who can't afford it by community organizers like Barack Obama, who claimed "discrimination" when poor people couldn't get loans. (You can't cure poverty by giving people with "money problems" money, just as you can't cure alcoholism by giving liquor to drunks.
